A. GENERAL INFORMATION
Turkey Weddings (hereinafter referred to as Turkeyweddings) is the wedding and event organizations department of Propertravel Sey. Dan. Tur. Tic. Ltd. Sti. registered to Urgup Chamber of Commerce and any travel service such as hotel bookings, tour & transfer arrangements, and their operations other than the wedding/event organization are provided by Travel Atelier Travel Agency (A5328) which is also owned by Propertravel.
1. PACKAGE DESCRIPTIONS
1.1 Turkeyweddings Standart Wedding Packages Description: Turkey weddings offers standard wedding packages specially prepared for couples mainly looking for a legal civil marriage and can be found on the Packages section of our website.
1.2. Turkeyweddings Customized Wedding Packages Description; Turkeyweddings will arrange any kind of customized special event organizations such as bachelorette parties, wedding ceremonies, wedding parties, afterparties, multi-day Events for weddings, etc. In addition to offering a greater level of privacy, attention to detail, a customized Wedding Package provides the opportunity to choose from a broad range of destinations, venues, themes, and activities. These packages are generally offered with the 3rd party vendor options of decoration, photographer, florist, cake house, hair & make-up stylists.
1.3 Turkeyweddings Travel Services Package Description: Apart from the event organization, all the supporting travel services such as hotel bookings, transfers, tours, etc. are provided by the registered travel agency of Propertravel Sey. Dan. Tur. Tic. Ltd. Sti. which is the Travel Atelier Travel Agency (A5328)
2. PACKAGE PRICES:
2.1.Standard Wedding Package Prices: Standard wedding packages have set prices and both inclusions and exclusions are clearly indicated under each package and can be found under the Packages section of our turkeyweddings website. Prices include only those items listed on the designated package description and may vary significantly based on request.
2.2. Turkeyweddings Customized Wedding Package Prices: Turkeyweddings Customized Wedding Packages do not have set prices since each and every one of them is tailored according to the budget, desires, and preferences of the couple. Turkeyweddings gathers all the required information and proposes the package rate accordingly.
2.3. Turkeyweddings Travel Services Package Prices: Turkeyweddings Travel Services packages do not have set prices since the requests are different. Once the requested travel services are confirmed our travel department proposes the travel services package rate.
2.4. VAT amount is %18 as of October 1, 2021. In case of changes in tax rates, Turkeyweddings reserves the right to make
adjustments to the prices determined without advance notice.
3. OTHER INFORMATION
3.1 Payment: Payments are made in Euros. U.S. dollar payments or any non-Euro denominated currency payments will be converted to Euros at the selling rate as reported by The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey on the day of the payment.
If value-added tax, for Turkeyweddings (Propertravel Ltd. Sti), or its subsidiaries, or direct hotel taxes, or supplier tax increases between the time of this agreement and the time the guests travel to the agreed destination, Turkeyweddings reserves the right to increase the total price of the package proportionately in order to reflect such increase, and therefore guests will wholly assume the cost of such an increase, if applicable. In the event a refund is provided, currency conversion costs and expenses associated with exchange rate fluctuations will be subtracted from such refund.
3.2 Invoicing: The currency to be used for invoice shall be Turkish Liras according to the Turkish Laws. Despite the fact that the cost has been quoted in Euro the official invoice will be in Turkish Lira shall be calculated at the selling rate as reported by The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey on the day of the payment. The invoice will be issued according to the sum of these payments on the day of the organization. Parties hereby agree that payments shall be made in Euros, Usd & GBP and booking records shall be kept in Turkish Liras. Turkeyweddings provides Invoice Statements in USD, Euro & GBP on request.
3.3 Passports and Visas for Turkey: The visa requirements are subject to change at any time for different countries. It is the traveler’s responsibility to check with the equivalent embassy and its consulates for up-to-date information. Please also check Visa information for foreigners for the most recent situation.
B. PAYMENTS
1. Standard Wedding packages Payment Policy
1.1. Commitment deposit: Turkeyweddings gathers and advises all the necessary information to obtain the “Certificate of No Impediment” for both bride & the groom and does all the necessary checks to make sure that all official documents will be approved by the Turkish authorities before you come to Turkey which is a time-consuming process that requires great attention to detail. Assigning a wedding planner for a couple, for 3 working days to assist you through the process of the health check, passport translations & notarizations, and finally depositing all the required paperwork to the authorities who will execute the civil ceremony means; your wedding coordinator will not be able to take care of another couple. After sharing all the necessary information once you decide to work with Turkeyweddings we'll be asking for a %30 non-refundable commitment deposit from the package rate in order to book your date and assign your planner. The commitment deposit amount can be paid either with the bride's or groom's credit card or via bank transfer. Please note that Turkeyweddings will not book any date or assign any of the wedding planners before the non-refundable payment is received.
1.2.Standard Wedding Packages Due Payment: Standard Wedding Packages due Payments shall be completed once the couple meets their wedding planner and before starting to follow the procedures that the Turkish authorities require. Parties hereby agree that a part of the balance (not less than min 400 Euros) shall be paid in cash.
1.2 Standard Wedding Packages Cancellation/Refund Policy: %30 Commitment Deposit payment is non-refundable under any circumstances. If the couple fails to bring the Eligibility to marry form required for the Turkish authorities the wedding date can be postponed for a year without an additional charge.
Once the paperwork is completed for the Turkish authorities if the couple decides not to marry, the total payment is non-refundable.
Failure to provide full payment according to the above-outlined schedules will result in the cancellation of your wedding execution, and no refund of payments made to date will be provided by Turkeyweddings (Propertravel Ltd. Sti).
Turkeyweddings reserves the right to cancel a confirmed booking and refund only the appropriate portion of the balance payment if full payment is not provided in accordance with our deposit and full payment policy.
2. Customized Wedding Packages Payment Policy; For customized wedding Packages Turkeyweddings prepares a Specific Contract for the designated wedding/event with all the inclusions, rates, payment, and cancellation policies and submits to your approval.
2.1. Customized Wedding Packages Deposit Payments: A ''250 Euro VAT included' non-refundable deposit is required to start working on a wedding organization planning, this price includes gathering the options, hunting venues & preparing the proposals up to 5 venues, and the time spent by your wedding planner for you. This amount is deductible from the handling fee once the wedding organization is confirmed by you and executed.
2.2. Inspection Fee: On request, Turkeyweddings will organize an inspection to the venue/s and schedule meetings with vendors. The daily Inspection fee is 200 Euro for the planner's time & effort and includes private transportation expenses within city limits.
The inspection fee is deductible from the handling fee once the wedding organization is confirmed by you and executed.
2.3. Handling Fee: Turkeyweddings share the NET rates of the vendors with the couple and deal & contract them on behalf of the couple. For such organization there are set fees as mentioned below;
- The handling Fee for events up to 50 people is 1500 Euro + VAT/day
- The handling Fee for events up to 100 people is 3000 Euro +VAT/day
We include this fee in another agreement between the couple and Turkeyweddings together with the agreed costs of other vendors like photographer, DJ, decoration, sound, and lighting system, hair & make-up services, and any other extra services you may require such as additional shows, catering services, welcome dinner, thank you/farewell dinner/lunch brunch, etc.
3. Turkeyweddings Travel Services Package Payment Policy; For Turkeyweddings Travel Services Packages Turkeyweddings prepares a Specific Contract for the requested travel services mentioning all the inclusions, rates, payment, and cancellation policies and submits to your approval.
3.2. Turkeyweddings Travel Services Packages Cancellation/Refund Policy; Couples and the guests booked through TurkeyWeddings and/or Travel Atelier are bound with the cancellation and refund policies of the individual vendors such as hotels, airlines, Motoryacht companies, etc. Those are all clearly indicated on the proposal you receive from us. Please make sure that you have reviewed the cancellation policies before you make your payment for travel services.
C. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION:
1.1 Cancellation Insurance: It is the traveler’s responsibility to protect his or her purchases. Travel Insurance is strongly recommended and in particular cancel for any reason insurance.
1.2 Limits on Turkeyweddings Responsibility: Turkeyweddings (Propertravel Sey. Dan. Tur. Tic. Ltd. Sti) and/or its subsidiaries and agents (“Travel Atelier”) act only as the event coordinator, organizer, and travel agent for the hotels, villas, apartments, restaurants, airlines, transport companies, owners or contractors providing venues, catering services, decoration companies, accommodations, transportation providers, or other service providers (“suppliers”). By acceptance of any Turkeyweddings membership, receipts, or tickets, the Turkeyweddings client agrees that Turkeyweddings assumes no liability for any loss, injury or damage to a person or property, or otherwise any connection with any accommodations, transportation, or other service, resulting directly or indirectly from any acts of co-travelers, suppliers, nature, or dangers, delays, cancellations, and incidents related to the sea or weather conditions, health related problems before, after, or during the tour, fire, breakdown in machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, de jure or de facto, wars, whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, terrorist attacks, strikes, bank holidays, capital controls, riots, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, medical or custom regulations, defaults, delays or cancellations or changes in itinerary or schedules, or from any causes beyond the control of Turkeyweddings or for loss or damage resulting from insufficient, or improperly issued passports, visas or other documents, and that Turkeyweddings assumes no liability sustained or incurred by a Turkeyweddings client as a result of any foreign causes and is not liable for defaults or breach of contract of those persons, suppliers, or companies not directly under the control of Turkeyweddings. Turkeyweddings shall not be responsible for suppliers’ failure to comply with any laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), GDPR, or any intentional or negligent actions or omissions on the part of such suppliers. Turkeyweddings reserves the right to substitute hotels, venues with the best available alternatives and make any changes in the packages where deemed necessary or caused by an airline, train, bus, or ferry schedules, or other reasons. By embarking on his/her travel, the traveler voluntarily assumes all risks involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected.
